PathoSense Laboratory is located in the Laboratory of Virology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University. Although all analyses are executed by the PathoSense team, you can also request to order your sampling kit & analysis from one of our partners. They take care of the sampling logistics and your other analyses. Customers from outside Belgium (The Netherlands and Germany) can only buy sampling kits immediately from PathoSense. Interested in submitting samples from other European countries, please contact us first. All prices mentioned are VAT exclusive.

Included in the price of diagnostic analyses are: PathoSense sampling kit, logistics only included when working via one of our partners, broad virus & bacterial identification, preliminary genetic characterisation of viruses (depending on available output, e.g. PRRSV, influenza A, parvovirus...). Brief note from an expert in infectious diseases in veterinary medicine. Bacterial typing and antimicrobial resistance analysis not included.
